My Perspective as a Mom
2017-09-26
My son Alonzo has been a part of all Brady youth programming, but he’s not the only one. We’ve been a part of Brady for two generations; my granddaughter Jazmine Grant has participated as well. Over seven summers I’ve watched them change and grow at Brady.

I am so thankful.
During the summer when school is out, there is not a lot to do. Kids get bored, and then they tend to get in trouble. With Brady Faith there was always something positive for him to do. He likes basketball. The Norma Triche Basketball clinic was great for him. Summer Servants gave him a chance to go with other young people his age to study the Bible and find a piece of himself.
My family has been emotionally blessed to have been a part of the Brady family. The neighborhood that we live in is a rough one. There are a lot of drugs being sold and other crime. My son wants no part of it. Amen!! My only son has become a very respectful, living young man in our community that younger children look up to.
My family went through an extremely difficult time a few years ago. Without the prayers and the emotional support that we received from our Brady family who knows how we would have come through. The Brady family was outstanding. Always IS!!
