Father John Schopfer
Pastoral Director
Father John Schopfer is the Pastoral Director for the Brady Faith Center. He has served in this position for many years to meet the spiritual needs of individuals and families in the neighborhoods of Syracuse’s South West Community.
MoAde Jagusah

Center and Work Force Development Coordinator
MoAde Jagusah is a Workforce Development Program Coordinator at the Brady Farm and a Center Coordinator at the Brady Faith Center. With a background as a creative writer, start-up founder, and community organizer, MoAde is a versatile and passionate addition to any team. They are particularly interested in fostering liberatory environments, specifically by engaging with regenerative agriculture, food and energy sovereignty, racial justice, and mutual aid. MoAde is a recent graduate of Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She can be reached at mjagusah@bradyfarm.org.

Kevin Frank
Executive Director
Kevin Frank joined Brady Faith Center as the Executive Director in May 2010. Formerly the pastoral associate at St. Lucy’s Church, Mr. Frank brings extensive experience working in the urban community to this position.
Samuel De La Paz
Brady Market Director
Samuel is Director of Brady Market, where he works with his team of department managers, care coordinator, and community health worker to live out their mission of Hope, Health, and Healing. He returned to Brady after working with the VBS Summer Program in 2019, and has been with Brady Market after graduating from Notre Dame in Fall 2022.

Edgar James
Brady Market - Program Coordinator
Edgar James, a talented individual with a passion for Social Work, is an exceptional individual who has achieved remarkable success in their endeavors. With a strong work ethic and a drive for excellence, Edgar has become known for his exceptional skills and dedication to his craft.
Born and raised in South Georgia, Edgar demonstrated an early aptitude for Social
Work and natural desire to assist non-profits excel in their mission to assist the communities they serve.
Beyond his professional achievements, Edgar is known for his strong character and unwavering integrity.
Jessi Lyons
Associate Executive Director, Farm Coordinator
Jessi Lyons is a native of the Pacific NW but has been happy to call Syracuse home since 2006. At the Brady Farm, Jessi gets to combine her background in ecology and community development with her passion for food, agriculture and people. She loves to teach food preservation and experiment with eating and growing.
Melody Holmes
Women's Bible Study and Ministry Support
Melody E. Holmes is a native Syracusan and a well known community advocate. Her training, advocacy and teaching has centered on community dialogues, political concerns, community change that can help define and educate ourselves and our neighbors all centered around the city and specifically, the SouthSide. She currently is affiliated with the Brady Faith Center, Syracuse City School District, Interfaith Works, and Syracuse University.

Asia U James
Brady faith Center Program/ Outreach Coordinator
Asia James is a dynamic and accomplished Program Coordinator who brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to her new role at the Brady Faith Center. With a background in social work and community outreach, Asia has dedicated her career to serving individuals and families in need, particularly in the Syracuse area where she was born and raised. As the new Program Coordinator at Brady Faith Center, Asia will use her extensive knowledge and skills to develop and implement innovative programs that promote health, wellness, and empowerment for the center's diverse client base. Asia is deeply committed to fostering connections and building relationships within the community, and is passionate about working collaboratively with other local organizations to achieve positive social change. In her free time, Asia enjoys spending time with her husband, their three sons, and exploring all that Syracuse has to offer. ajames@bradyfaith.org

Jaznea Brumfield
Brady Market - Office Manager
With a background as a freelance marketing agent, Jaznea has a knack for creativity and marketing innovation. She graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and Marketing, specializing in public relations. Having dedicated two years to non-profit marketing, Jaznea is excited to bring her skills and passion to Brady Market. She's committed to spreading our mission and garnering support for our initiatives. Beyond her professional life, Jaznea enjoys puzzles, yoga, and tennis, reflecting her love for problem-solving, well-being, and an active lifestyle.
Kayo Green
Brady Farm - Farm Manager
Kayo transplanted herself to the US in 2012 from her home country, Japan. She joined the Brady Farm team in 2021, due to her bursting desire to learn land stewardship and cultivating grace from nature in the form of food. She often wonders "how can I create a space for us to connect with ourselves and others (human and non-human) deeper through farming?" while she executes whatever needs to be in the field to get the farm going. She loves drinking tea, reading and writing poetry, and learning ideas that can turn her world upside down.
Emily Nisco Frank
Ministry Support
Emily Nisco-Frank joined the Brady Faith Center as Program Coordinator in 2011. In a part-time role she coordinates numerous ministries and programs combining her multiple passions and gifts into a tapestry of celebration, loving relationships and service. Emily is also a Licensed Marriage (Couple) and Family Therapist and co-leads the Sunday morning 10:00 am music ministry at St. Lucy’s Church.
Julia Nosovitch
Drop-In Center and Hospitality
Julia brings a background in accounting and IT and many years of experience in the not for profit sector to her work at Brady. Outside of Brady, she loves to cook, volunteer, travel, and spend time with her family.
